A note about the Samuel Beckett Bridge Painting

As I lived on the North side but worked on the South side, I used to walk over this bridge every morning. It’s a cable-stayed bridge in Dublin that joins Sir John Rogerson’s Quay on the south side of the River Liffey to Guild Street and North Wall Quay in the Docklands area. I’m a early bird, so this would often coincide with stunning sunrises. I decided to create this watercolour and ink artwork as a homage to it. The original Samuel Beckett Bridge illustration was on display at the People’s Art Exhibition twice and it was always a very popular item.
