A note about the Glendalough Painting

The Monastic Site at Glendalough, with its mystical buildings and stunning landscape, has always fascinated me. I’ve always found ancient ruins in Ireland so fascinating that I decided to represent it through this watercolour and ink artwork. What you see on this painting is the Round Tower, surrounded by graves and immersed in the beautiful Wicklow mountains. I exhibited the original Glendalough illustration at the People’s Art Exhibition twice and I always received great feedback about it.
